Vikreya ("Vikreya," "we," "us," or "our") operates the marketplace at www.vikreya.com and related applications and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Scope & Who We Are

This Policy applies to personal information we process when you visit or use the Services, create an account, buy, sell or trade goods and services, participate in our rewards program, or otherwise interact with us. The Services are hosted in the United States. The data controller is:

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Account & profile data — name, email address, phone number, password, business name and details (for business accounts), profile photo, and location or ZIP code.
Listings & content — items you post for sale or trade, service listings, descriptions, images, prices, reviews and ratings, comments, wishlist items, and messages you send to other users.
Transaction data — records of purchases, subscriptions, service orders, coupon and reward redemptions, and billing address. Card details are collected and processed by our payment processor, not stored by us (see Section 6).
Communications — information you provide when you contact support, respond to surveys, or send us feedback.

Information we collect automatically:

Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, and interaction timestamps.
Cookies & similar technologies — see Section 4.
Approximate location — derived from your IP address or the ZIP code you provide, used to surface nearby listings and deals.

Information from third parties: affiliate and advertising networks (e.g., transaction confirmations that qualify you for cash-back), payment processors (transaction status), and analytics providers.

Sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use "sensitive personal information" (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, or account log-in credentials paired with access codes) for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. Payment card data is handled by our processor as described in Section 6.

The following table summarizes the categories of personal information we collect, why, and to whom we disclose it (a "notice at collection"). Retention is described in Section 10.

Sources of this information: you, your device and use of the Services, and third parties such as affiliate networks, payment processors, and analytics providers.

3. How We Use Your Information

Create and administer your account and authenticate you.
Operate the marketplace — publish your listings, enable trades, service bookings, messaging, reviews, and wishlists.
Process payments, subscriptions, and service orders, and track your free-trade quota.
Administer the rewards program — award and redeem points, cash-back, and gift cards.
Surface relevant listings, coupons, and Smart Deals affiliate offers, including nearby results.
Send transactional messages, and — where permitted — marketing communications you can opt out of.
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Use.
Analyze and improve the Services, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure and improve the Services, and support analytics and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality such as staying logged in. We use analytics providers (which may include Google Analytics) to understand usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics via tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and out of interest-based advertising via aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary payment. However, our use of advertising and analytics partners (Section 4) and affiliate networks (Section 7) may involve "sharing" or a "sale" of certain online identifiers and activity as those terms are broadly defined under California and other state privacy laws. You can opt out of this activity as described in Section 9. We otherwise share information only as described below:

Other users — your public profile, listings, reviews, and the content of messages you choose to send are visible to the users you interact with. Do not include sensitive information in public listings or messages.
Service providers — vendors that host our infrastructure, process payments, send email, provide customer support, analytics, and security, bound by contract to use your information only to serve us.
Affiliate & advertising networks — to attribute qualifying purchases for cash-back and to serve relevant offers (see Section 7).
Legal & safety — when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Vikreya, our users, or the public.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Payments & Financial Information

Payments for subscriptions, premium service listings, and other paid features are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). When you pay, your card details are transmitted directly to the processor and are subject to its privacy policy. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; we retain transaction records such as amount, date, status, the last four digits, and billing address.

7. Affiliate Links, Cash-Back & Rewards

Our Smart Deals and shopping features include affiliate links to third-party retailers through networks such as eBay Partner Network, Impact/Rakuten, and others. When you click these links and make a qualifying purchase, the network shares limited transaction data with us so we can attribute the purchase and credit cash-back or reward points to your account. Reward points, cash-back, and gift-card redemptions are recorded in an internal ledger tied to your account. Purchases themselves are completed on the retailer's site and are governed by that retailer's terms and privacy policy.

8. Your Choices

Marketing emails — click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or email privacy@vikreya.com. You will still receive transactional messages related to your account and orders.
Account information — you can review and update most profile information in your account settings.
Cookies — manage through your browser (see Section 4).
Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal information as described in Section 9.

9. Your Privacy Rights & Opt-Out Choices

Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and Utah), you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information and certain targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money and do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that requires opt-out consent, but you may still exercise the choices in Section 8.

California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, and request deletion, subject to legal exceptions. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents may request information about disclosures for third parties' direct marketing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To the extent our use of advertising, analytics, and affiliate partners constitutes a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under applicable law, you may opt out. Submit a request by emailing privacy@vikreya.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share," or by adjusting the cookie and advertising opt-outs referenced in Section 4.

Opt-out preference signals (Global Privacy Control). We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt that browser out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Because GPC is browser- and device-specific, you may need to enable it on each browser and device you use.

To exercise any right, email privacy@vikreya.com with your request and account email. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. Transaction and reward records may be retained longer where required for tax, accounting, or audit purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential; notify us promptly at privacy@vikreya.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact privacy@vikreya.com. Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, to transact on the Services.

13. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States and are subject to U.S. federal and Colorado state law. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States.

14. Do-Not-Track

Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting Do-Not-Track ("DNT") browser signals, the Services do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do, however, honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal as described in Section 9.

15. Third-Party Sites

The Services contain links to third-party websites and applications, including affiliate retailers and social networks, that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be communicated by additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
